How To Kill Windows Processes Using CMD

When a program is not responding means ,we try to close that application by clicking end task in windows task manager . Some time that too not works,in that case use this method.
  •  Open command prompt and type tasklist in that .
  • It shows  the list programs running and their process id.
  • Note down the process id of the application you want to close.
  • Then type taskkill/pid PID  in command prompt , PID indicates the process id , replace PID with the process id that you have note down and press enter. i.e : taskkill/pid 3156 
  • Thats all
